| Games |
| All teams are scheduled 6 games: 3 25-minute games and 3
50-minute games. No games will be played on Friday. Please reserve
Friday evening for mandatory team registration. On Saturday,
each team will play 3 mini-games and 1 full-length (50 minutes)
game. All teams will return on Sunday to play 2 full-length
games. If for some reason a team is a no-show in your division it's possible to play less than 6 games. |
| Rules |
|
All games are played in accordance with FIFA rules, except
as specially modified by Tournament
Rules. A full set of Tournament Rules can be found on
this website.
This is a patch exchange tournament. We encourage patch exchange,
however, it is not required.

| Registration
|
|
Team registration will take place from 6-7:30 pm on Friday, August 28rd at the Gettysburg Firehall. Directions to Gettysburg Fire Hall: 35 N Stratton Street, Gettyburg PA 17325 (NOTE: This is a different location the the 2009 Blue Gray Cup)
Certified rosters, player passes with photos and medical
release forms will be checked and verified at that time. Permission
to travel forms are only required for teams outside of Region
1. New Jersey State Association does require teams from that state to obtain a permission to travel form.

| Awards
|
|
Individual player trophies are presented only to first and
second place teams in each division of U9 through U17 age
groups.
|
| Eligibility |
|
The Battlefield Blast Tournament is open to both boys and
girls competitive club teams. This is a USYSA sanctioned tournament
through the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association.
All teams must be in good standing with their state association.
Validated Player Passes with photos, official team rosters
and medical release forms are required of all teams accepted
into the tournament. Your own club medical release forms will
suffice. Permission to Travel forms are only required of teams
from OUTSIDE region 1 New Jersey State Association does require teams from that state to obtain a permission to travel form.
Teams may include guest players - Maximum of 2 for U9, U10, U11 (8v8 format) and U12 (8v8 format); Maximum of 3 for U11 (11v11 format), U12 (11v11 format) and ages above.

| Coaches Meeting
|
| There is a coaches meeting held immediately after the conclusion
of registration on Friday evening. While this meeting is not
mandatory, coaches and/or team parents are encouraged to attend.
Any last minute changes are covered at this meeting. This meeting
will take place at 7:45 pm.

| General Description |

2009-2010 Season
U9, U10, U11 (8v8), U12 (8v8)
U11 (11v11), U12 (11v11) - U18 (11v11)
Tournament is open to both boys and girls teams at each age group. |

Numerous sites in Gettysburg, PA and the surrounding communities.
Specific playing locations will be determined after the tournament
deadline date has passed.

| Officials
|
The younger ages U9, U10, U11 (8v8 format), U12 (8v8 format) will have at least one certified center,
with the possibility of club linesman if there are not enough certified referees. U11 (11v11 format), U12 (11v11 format) and above will have 3 certified referees.

| Awards
|

and 2nd place teams in each division of U9 teams and above. |
| Guest
Players |
U9 & U10: Up to 2 guest players are permitted if necessary
to assure an adequate number of players. The size of the
entire roster, including guest players, is 14. U9
& U10 play 8 v 8.
U11 & up: Up to 3 guest players are permitted if necessary
to assure an adequate number of players. The size of the
entire roster, including guest players, is 18. U11
& up play 11 v 11.
(U11 & U12 will be 8 v 8 and 11 v 11) |

Fee |
U9, U10, U11 (8v8), U12 (8v8): $500
U11 (11v11), U12 (11v11) and above: $525
Note: I understand that withdrawing my team from the tournament must be done in writing and received in our office on or before the tournament entry deadline to be eligible for a refund. I further understand that withdrawing my team after the tournament entry deadline date will result in the forfeit of the entire tournament entry fee, no exceptions.
In the event of bad weather shortening or canceling this event, entry fees may not be returned.

Paperwork |
All teams are REQUIRED to present the following items at Registration:
- Your state-approved roster and/or a copy of such that we may keep;
- Player passes for each player INCLUDING all guest players;
- Medical release forms for each player INCLUDING all
guest players (Your club's own medical release forms will
suffice)
- Permission to Travel Form, if your team is from OUTSIDE Region 1 New Jersey State Association does require teams from that state to obtain a permission to travel form.
